Floral pattern

As a blazer
It seems like everyone is wearing floral everywhere in blouses, shoes, blazers, pants, glasses, in their phone case and even in nails. But what happens when you're so excited with a trend, you buy a piece of clothes with it and you don't know how to wear it?
Well don't be afraid, I'm gonna give you a few tips on how to incorporate floral to your look.

With another pattern
  • With a plain color. You can never go wrong with a plane color, either use a neutral tone like beige, black, withe, or denim or use the lightest or darkest color in your pattern.
  • With another pattern. If the floral patter is full of  flowers use a simple pattern to combine it and vice versa. You can also use a big pattern with a smaller pattern.
  • In the blazer. If you have a floral blazer and you're struggling with the fact of with what to use it, try the color tip using both the darkest and lightest shade of the pattern or the darkest shade with a neutral tone and on top of everything your fabulous floral blazer.
  • In shoes. Focus on the background color of the pattern and style it as if it was a plain color and you will never go wrong.
  • As an accessory.  If it is a small thing like a ring, a phone case or your nails, don't be worry you can practically use it with everything. If it's a bigger thing like a wallet, a hat or a belt just make sure it's in the same color scheme.
I hope this tips where helpful and if you have a specific doubt about floral pattern or any other thing please don't doubt to ask.

Backyards

One day I saw a poster inviting people to a concert in a backyard and ever since I had the dream of organize one and yesterday I was watching 90210 on Netflix, the episode in which Ade sings Jolene, but only the chorus parts so I was like "I want to hear the whole song" and I searching it and found this cover by Miley Cyrus and it's so awesome, and is in "The Backyard sessions" so the idea of a concert in a backyard came to me again.

The song is amazing for her voice and I really imagine myself in the ground on a blanket with some lemonade just hearing the music.
I think also the mood of the spring has made me wanting this a lot like rigth now, or in summer break, I don't know, maybe this year I will make it happen, wish me luck.

It's also the spring time that makes me want some flowers and grass around me, some time around 5 and 6 o'clock to have the light of the sun but not burning myself in it, then the night slowly coming with the music on the background, it's a dream.
Yes, this was a post.

Dresses, dresses, dresses and Spring.

Today starts the spring!!!
I love spring cause I can wear dresses and floral stuff even if Miranda Priestly will judge me, and cardigans for the wind, and low heels and omg I'm excited
If there's something I really love about the vintage look are all the beautiful dresses, specially those who are handmade with a little bit of a 60's 70's vibe in pastel colors and those with tulle on top of a satin fabric.
I think this is mostly because I used to have a lot of dresses like this when I was a child, my mom used to dress me in dresses or overalls and now I constantly look for dresses like that in the market, but there aren't many.
When I see pictures like this the girls are always in her kitchen, or in a garden or the dress is just hanging in the dresser.

I remember watching The Help thinking "Omg I want all their dresses" and well those kind of dress can actually make anyone look super feminine (if that's what you're trying to accomplish).
In a perfect world my dresses would be full of them and I would wear them everywhere, to the mall, to a cafe, to a bar, a party, dinner, brunch etc, etc, etc.
My love for dresses is kinda annoying sometimes but they're a true versatile piece of clothes, choosing the right accesories you can make it as casual or elegant as you want it to look.
Yo can also use it with a blouse on top of it, to make your dress look like a skirt and it looks super adorable.
So, the moral of the story is... you should... buy dresses?
I don't know, but they are pretty, and I wanted to talk about it, well, about the vintage ones, I hope you're having an awesome day! And tell me in the comments below, what it's your favorite kind of dresses and how do you use them? Have a happy start of Spring! <3

Jeans to the office

I keep hearing everywhere "I have to drees appropriate in the office but that it's really uncomfortable" and it really got me thinking about it, because I'm not a really business look friendly and suddenly it came to me... How could I make my jeans wearable for the office, keeping it in a appropriate office look and of course without losing the style.
I first I thought of just being bold and a rebel using my favorite pair of jeans with whatever I was thinking of wearing as a top choice but, fashion isn't easy, so I ended up looking like everything but professional. So I ended up thinking in my dressy pants and try to imagine them made of denim.

Of course, as always, there are a few things we got to keep in mind

1. The color: Dark and plain. You will look clean, professional and perfect. When saying dark I don't actually refer to a black denim, think about blue denim in the darkest shade you can find.
2. The cut: Choose a straight or boot-cut cut, even skinny jeans, remember that fashion is all about proportions so if you are going for the skinny choice don't choose them too tight an, keep it paired up with a loose fitting blouse.
3. Don't go for a low waist cut! Get yourself a pir of high waisted jeans, this will be your best friend in the office.

If you want to spice up your outfit a little bit, you can break rule number one and go with some other colors just keep it in the darkest shade. Avoid distressed looks and boyfriend jeans above all.
A silky blouse and a blazer can look perfect with jeans, a jacket for a more rock glam twist and some elegant pumps don't forget to accessorize your look.
